Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the IRIS2 SpaceRise procurement activities. You will drive sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract management, and governance across satellite primes, launch services, and operations suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Organize all procurement activities: sourcing, documentation, RFI/RFP, offers evaluation, decision boards, and contractualisation.
• Monitor execution of procurement contracts with satellites primes, launch services, and ground/ops suppliers to align with milestones and requirements.
• Track critical path deliverables and address delays with PMO support.
• Ensure compliance with space industry and security standards for IRIS² Programme.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure performance meets targets.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, finance, legal, and programme management teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors addressing quality, schedule, or cost deviations.
• Identify and mitigate programme-critical risks like supply disruptions, non-compliance, or overruns.
• Track spend, validate invoices, and ensure cost efficiency in a high-budget environment.
• Manage contract amendments, change orders, and claims, especially for scope changes.
• Maintain audit-ready contract records with technical specs and performance metrics.
• Generate executive reports on contract status and risks for leadership.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement manager for the IRIS2 SpaceRise programme in Eutelsat. Your leadership and experience will be key to support the project manager in the execution of the program

Who You Are:

You are a structured and organized project experience person committed on deliveries and capable of leading a group of people toward a common objective.. You thrive in collaborative environments, are comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and can effectively communicate in both English and cross-functional teams. You enjoy providing structure and clarity in high-impact programs and are confident using Project Management digital tool and processes.

What You’ll Do:

You will support the H/O Contract of procurement of IRIS 2 and OneWeb Next , for in particular

• Organize all the procurement activities (Sourcing , Consultation documentation, RFI/RFP process, Supplier’s offers evalutation (RFI/RFP), Decision boards: Tender Evaluation Board (TEB), Tender Senior Board (TSB) , Contractualisation with the supplier
• Monitor the execution of procurement contracts with satellite Primes, launch services, and Eutelsat ground and service/operations suppliers, ensuring alignment with programme milestones and technical requirements.
• Monitor critical path deliverables, with the support of the PMO team, proactively addressing delays or non-conformances.
• Ensure strict compliance with space industry and security standards applied for IRIS² Programme
• Manage relationships with Satellite Prime, Ground, Service/operations suppliers and launch providers, ensuring performance meets the programme’s targets
• Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, finance, legal and programme management teams to resolve technical, logistical, financial, or contractual issues.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors, addressing quality, schedule, or cost deviations.
• Identify and mitigate programme-critical risks, such as supply chain disruptions, technical non-compliance, or cost overruns.
• Track contract spend, validate invoices, and ensure cost efficiency in a high-budgetenvironment.
• Manage and fully control contract amendments, change orders, and claims management, particularly for scope changes or technical adjustments.
• Maintain audit-ready contract records, including technical specifications, compliance certificates, and performance metrics.
• Generate executive reports on contract status, risks, and vendor performance for programme leadership and stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience in procurement, in particular in complex industrial and organizational environment
• À background in space program
• Strong awareness on key processes and tasks as described above
• Leadership to drive and coordinate a team of various skills, companies
• Experience in Project Management digital tools
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Availability in Issy les Moulineaux with regular travels to Toulouse.
