A global satellite communications company is seeking a skilled System Architect to define the end-to-end system architecture for their next generation European satellite communications system. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in system engineering and a strong background in integrating system segments. This position offers opportunities for remote work and requires international travel.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled system architect to join our team and play a critical role in defining the end-to-end system architecture of our next generation European LEO satellite communications system (IRIS²). In this position, you’ll work closely with internal engineers, architects, product and business development managers, and external suppliers leading the development of system components. You will write technical requirements, perform system trade studies, define the concept of operations, and maintain the technical baseline, including all the interface definitions. You will work closely with the program and the Integration & Test team to ensure that the system is developed and is fit for purpose.
