Dedale Intelligence is seeking an experienced research analyst in France to conduct deep fundamental research on software and technology companies, and to perform strategic due diligence and financial analysis on both publicly listed and privately owned firms.

You will leverage quantitative modeling and qualitative insights gathered from expert interviews within a strong team, delivering high‑quality materials for multi‑million investments.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 engineering or business school degree in Business, Corporate Finance, Engineering, or Strategy.
• 4–6 years of relevant strategy or finance experience in tech or corporate environments.

Responsabilités

• Conduct deep fundamental research on software and technology companies.
• Perform strategic due diligence and financial analysis on listed and privately owned software and technology companies.
• Leverage both quantitative modeling and qualitative insights generated through expert interviews.
• Collaborate with a team of peers and experienced former Tier 1 management consultants on research.
• Deliver high‑quality deliverables that support decision‑making on multi‑million investments.
• Communicate research findings internally and externally.
• Grow in the team by taking on increasing responsibilities and developing professionally.
• Daily monitor the identified companies.
• Prepare financial research, analysis, strategic screening, and communication materials for members.
• Lead interviews in English with professional experts.
• Support process improvement and new company screening.

Your Profile

• Tier 1 engineering or business school graduate specializing in Business, Corporate Finance, Engineering, or Strategy.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in strategy and business, including internships in finance, tech, startup, or corporate environments.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong Excel abilities.
• Strong verbal presentation and slide‑making skills.
• Strategic thinking mindset – able to identify key inputs and perform smart correlations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Italian is a plus.
