Beicip-Franlab invites a Master’s student or final-year engineer to join an internship focused on fault sealing for hydrogen storage. You will review hydrogen systems, fault-seal methods, and fault-rock properties, then develop simplified models and perform sensitivity analyses to support retention studies.

Strong knowledge in structural geology and subsurface fluid flow, plus Python and Office tools, will help communicate results via reports and presentations.

Formación

• Enrolled in Master’s (M2) or final-year engineering program in Geosciences.
• Solid background in structural geology, fault-zone processes, and subsurface fluid flow.

Responsabilidades

• Review natural hydrogen systems and underground hydrogen storage studies.
• Review conventional fault-seal methodologies and key concepts (SGR, permeability, capillary seals).
• Compile fault-rock property ranges relevant to hydrogen retention.
• Develop simple hydrogen-retention models based on gas-seal concepts.
• Perform sensitivity analyses on fault-rock permeability and thickness.
