ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris is offering a 6‑month internship starting January 2027. The intern will read and draft arbitration documents, conduct English‑language legal research, and assist with conferences and translations as needed.

Based at ICC Global Headquarters, the role provides a dynamic, international environment with opportunities to learn and contribute, including partial remote work and meal vouchers.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Studies or experience in international commercial law/arbitration.
• Available January 2027 for a 6‑month internship.
• Currently enrolled as a student during the internship.
• Willing to work in an international environment in Paris.

The role

TheSecretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitrationislookingfor their new intern starting January 2027 fora period of 6 months.About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Read and draft documents related to arbitration cases in English
• Legal research and read legal documents in English and one of the languages listed below
• Preparation of conferences
• Translation of legal documents
• Ad hoc assignments as requested by the teams and the services of the Secretariat to which the intern may be assigned.

Terms and conditions

Important informationbefore applying:

• You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.Recent graduates who are not anymore enrolled in an educational programme are therefore not eligible to do an internship at ICC.
• Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must holdan appropriate visafrom the French consulate.
• Non-EU residentsare required tohave valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
• Internsare required tohandle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
• Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris, our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
