Job summary

Vallourec, a global leader in premium steel tubular solutions for energy and demanding industrial applications, seeks an International Contracts Counsel to manage complex international contracts and risk in a truly multinational setting.

Reporting to the Group Legal Department, you will advise operational and commercial teams, draft and negotiate tenders and projects, and coordinate with regional teams across EH, SA, NA, and other regions to harmonize contracting practices.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in an international in‑house legal position.
Strong expertise in international commercial contracts.
Analytical mindset with business‑oriented negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Provide legal support to product and service lines and advise on international projects.
Draft and negotiate contracts (tenders and complex projects).
Review tender documents and contractual frameworks; prepare deviation requests.
Manage claims, pre‑litigation and litigation matters in coordination with stakeholders and external counsel.
Train and raise awareness on contract risks with sales and operations teams.
