Valeo North America Inc. is seeking an Internal Auditor M/F to lead IS/IT audits across complex environments, including SAP, HR/payroll, R&D, procurement, and treasury.

The role spans multiple countries and sites, with a risk-based approach and strong emphasis on IT controls. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in IT/audit with at least 3 years of experience in IT auditing, familiar with COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, cloud computing, and cybersecurity basics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT, information systems, IT auditing, or cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years of experience in an audit firm or corporate internal IT audit.
• Solid understanding of IT controls and industry standards (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001).
• Knowledge of cloud computing and cybersecurity fundamentals; AI is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Conduct IS/IT audits across SAP, HR/payroll, R&D, procurement, treasury, and more across the Group.
• Perform exploratory interviews, test controls, and draft audit reports.
• Monitor and follow up on action plans and reporting.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and collaborate cross-country.
• Analyze KPIs and contribute to auditing method improvements.

We are currently seeking an Internal Auditor M/F who will be responsible for conducting audits of information systems (IS) and information technology (IT): systems, applications, infrastructure, business processes, and operational frameworks.

Your missions

Using a risk-based approach, prepare for, participate in, and conduct IS/IT audit engagements in complex environments and systems—such as SAP, HR/payroll, R&D, procurement, treasury, etc.—across the Group, spanning multiple countries and sites. Prepare and conduct exploratory interviews to understand IT environments and business processes. Perform control tests. Draft audit reports. Monitor and follow up on the action plans developed by the audited entities, as well as their implementation within the specified timeframes. Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors. Analyze, optimize, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports. Participate in the continuous improvement of the internal audit methodology. Comply with the Group’s Code of Ethics and Compliance.

About you

You hold a master’s degree (engineering, master’s, or business school) with a specialization in information systems, IT auditing, or cybersecurity, and have at least 3 years of experience at an audit firm or in a corporate internal audit department focused on IT. Throughout your career, you have developed expertise in information systems, IT infrastructure, and system architectures, giving you a solid understanding of IT internal control methodologies and industry standards (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001). Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, GCP/Workspace), the fundamentals of cybersecurity, and the use of AI are additional assets. You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear business insights for non-technical stakeholders. With an analytical and structured mindset, you demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. You thrive in environments where open-mindedness, teamwork, and agility are essential. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. International travel is expected.
