The candidate will join a development team – 15 collaborators shared in two agile teams (Scrum Master, Product Owner, developers, testers, architects, technical writer):

First team develops a firmware for devices that we are designing ourselves(One-Time PasswordTokens , CrescendoKey Series and Crescendo SmartCard Series). These devices can be used by end users to authenticate themselves securely to many applications.

Second team develops the server (Credential Management Systems) used to initialize these devices with secrets for authentication.

As our Server & Embedded Systems, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Collaborate actively with all members of the Agile team.
  • Contribute to developing new product features.
  • Contribute to improving the continuous integration (CI/CD) pipeline (automatic testing, conformance testing, performance testing).
  • Help the team developing new features for devices firmware (C/C++).
  • Help the team developing new features for the CMS server (Java, Angular).
  • Update testing tools with new test cases to support new features.

Experience & Background :

  • First experience in one or more development languages (Java, Python, scripting language, …) with knowledge of at least one related IDE (Xcode, Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse...)
  • First experience with standard operating system as Linux, Windows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • Working knowledge of at least one configuration utility (Git, Bitbucket).
  • Working knowledge of continuous integration concepts (build/test/packaging/deployment).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Language Skills

  • Fluent French is required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
