Ekimetrics invites a research-oriented intern to explore latent reasoning for Tabular Foundation Models (TFMs) and their interpretability. You will work in the Innovation Department on cutting-edge AI research and production-grade engineering within Ekimetrics' data stack in Paris.

The six-month internship offers hands-on experience with state-of-the-art TFMs, evaluation protocols, and collaboration with PhDs and senior researchers. Paris-based placement.

Formación

• Strong Python and PyTorch skills with solid data science toolkit usage.
• Good grasp of model validation: train/test splits, data leakage, baselines.
• Knowledge of transformers and language models; familiarity with latent reasoning or recurrent-depth models is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review literature on latent reasoning and tabular foundation models.
• Identify and adapt latent reasoning mechanisms to TFM architectures.
• Implement them on open-source TFMs and measure their effect on accuracy, calibration and robustness.
• Apply interpretability methods to characterize the computation performed.
• Build evaluation protocol on diverse tabular datasets including realistic business cases.
• Document results and contribute to scientific publications.
