Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies is seeking an intern in the EMEA Corporate Strategy Team for a 6-month January 2027 start. You will support Market Intelligence, Business Management, and Corporate Strategy through research, analysis and project management in Paris-area offices.

The role requires enrollment in a Master's program, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English; exposure to MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Market Intelligence: conduct in-depth prestige beauty market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities and threats.
• Business Management: support development and implementation of growth and profitability strategies; analyze financial data and run scenario analyses.
• Corporate Strategy: assist in formulating regional strategic plans and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects.
• Create reports/presentations summarizing findings to management and support the long-range plan construction.
• Monitor KPIs related to sales and profit by Brands, Affiliates, Categories, Channels, and BD activities.
• Participate in strategic planning and execution of projects to ensure on-time delivery and scope alignment.

Job description

The EMEA Corporate Strategy Team is now looking for an intern starting in January 2027 for a duration of 6 months, to support the development and execution of Market Intelligence and Corporate Strategy through research, analysis, and strategic project management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The internship is structured around three main axes:

Market Intelligence:

1. Perform in-depth prestige beauty market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
2. Contribute to the strategic monitoring efforts by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing market and competitor data.

Business Management:

1. Support the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth, profit and improve market position.
2. Evaluate financial data to identify areas for improvement and support the formulation of 'what-if' scenario-driven financial enhancement strategies.

Corporate Strategy:

1. Assist in the formulation and revision of the Regional strategic plan, ensuring alignment across Affiliates, Brands and Channels.
2. Engage in cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and initiatives that support the company's overall strategy.

Strategy Development:

1. Participate in strategic planning, offering analytical support and insights to guide decision-making processes.
2. Assist in the management and execution of strategic projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

EDUCATION:

1. Currently enrolled in a Master's program in business school, engineering school, or university.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
3. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
