Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your general engineering expertise, with a specialisation in electromechanics, automation, electricity, or civil engineering, in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You’ll play a key role in developing innovative maintenance solutions to support global rail projects. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (rolling stock, civil engineering, signalling, maintenance, etc.), analyse customer needs, design solutions tailored to rail infrastructure, engage in technical discussions with international suppliers, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of drafting technical specifications and analysing supplier technical offers, but also studying technical interfaces between locomotives and infrastructure.

We’ll look to you for:
  • Understanding customer requirements related to projects secured by Alstom.
  • Evaluating the maintenance plan for metro project infrastructure.
  • Studying interfaces between battery locomotives and maintenance buildings.
  • Collaborating with international suppliers to identify optimal technical solutions.
  • Drafting and reviewing technical documents based on project requirements.
  • Analysing technical offers received from potential suppliers.
  • Leveraging lessons learned from ongoing projects to enhance performance.
  • Studying the operation and performance of maintenance equipment supplied by Alstom.

  • Degree from a general engineering school with a specialisation in electromechanics, automation, electricity, or civil engineering.
  • Good understanding of machine tools, electromechanics, and sensor devices.
  • Experience or understanding of project management and digital solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Curiosity, autonomy, and a proactive mindset.

  • Work with passionate and committed technical experts.
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.
  • Contribute to innovative projects that transform global mobility.
  • Utilise our collaborative and innovation‑driven working environment.
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award‑winning learning.
  • Progress towards rewarding career opportunities within the rail industry.
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
