Job summary

Finatal is seeking an Interim CFO to lead a critical transformation for a PE-backed SaaS business in France, based in Lyon. The role focuses on executing a financial carve-out, establishing a scalable finance function, and delivering robust reporting to the CEO and PE sponsors.

You will drive strategic decision-making, implement advanced forecasting and KPI frameworks, and actively support M&A activity in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a SaaS business.
• Prior experience in a private equity-backed company is essential.
• Experience working in businesses with revenues exceeding €100M preferred.
• Strong track record in carve-outs, separations, or complex corporate transitions.
• Alternatively, significant experience in aggressive buy-and-build or M&A-driven environments.
• Comfortable operating in high-growth, fast-moving environments with demanding stakeholders.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to build credibility quickly.
