Role

ROLE: Within the Agency's commercial team, you are responsible for a remote client portfolio in order to meet the Group's commercial objectives. You are in charge of the acquisition, development, retention and traffic management of these customers, and you sell all the products and services of the CMA CGM Group.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of repeat clients remotely in a given geographical area and according to a commercial segmentation defined by the Management.
  • Regularly organize your customer contacts according to the objectives set by the Sales Department.
  • Prospect new customers remotely, develop new traffic, identify market opportunities and monitor them.
  • Promote and sell all CMA CGM Group products and services (maritime or other: e-commerce, value-added service (VAS), intermodal, logistics, air, etc.) in compliance with pricing policy.
  • Fill in the Customer information in the CRM tool and ensure it is updated.
  • Ensure quality of customer segmentation in collaboration with Management.
  • Plan commercial actions to achieve objectives defined in the budget.
  • Relay customer quotation requests to sales associates and communicate with Customer Service on operational monitoring.
  • Provide market information (market, rates, competition, regulation, trends) to lines, trade managers or Sales Department.
  • Track client collections in your portfolio in coordination with the financial department.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality, Safety and Security procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Postgraduate degree (+4/5 years) in International Trade or Transport/Logistics.
  • Ideally at least one year of experience in the same position.
  • Good command of IT and Office tools; fluency in French and English.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with numerous contacts.
  • Self-sufficiency, strong organizational skills, rigor, reactivity and proactivity.
