N/A Installation Methods Engineer (Senior/Confirmed) leads the preparation, validation, and optimization of offshore installation methodologies for subsea structures, flowlines, risers and umbilicals. The role demands autonomy, technical rigor, and strong coordination with multidisciplinary teams, offshore operations, HSE, and marine assets.

You will develop detailed documentation, define installation sequences (lifting, lowering, pipe lay), participate in Design Reviews and readiness

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Subsea Engineering.
• 5–10 years of confirmed offshore installation methods experience in Oil & Gas.
• Proven experience with subsea structures, flowlines, risers and umbilicals.
• Strong expertise in offshore installation methods (lifting, lowering, wet buckle management, pipe lay, subsea deployment).
• Solid understanding of installation vessels, barges, lifting equipment, tensioners, and subsea handling systems.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation compliant with international standards.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed technical documentation for offshore installation activities (procedures, method statements, notes, sequences).
• Integrate engineering specs, vessel constraints, and offshore feasibility requirements.
• Perform technical and operational feasibility assessments for subsea installation activities.
• Define installation sequences and associated methods (lifting, lowering, deployment, pipe lay, handling).
• Participate in Design Reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, readiness assessments; support offshore campaigns.
• Coordinate interfaces with engineering, operations, marine, and HSE.

The Installation Methods Engineer (Senior/Confirmed level) is responsible for preparing, validating, and optimizing offshore installation methodologies for subsea structures, flowlines, risers, and umbilicals.

The role requires autonomy, technical rigor, and strong coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams, offshore operations, HSE, and marine assets.

• Develop detailed technical documentation for offshore installation activities, including procedures, method statements, technical notes, and operational sequences.
• Integrate engineering specifications, vessel/barge constraints, and offshore feasibility requirements.
• Perform technical and operational feasibility assessments for subsea installation activities.
• Define installation sequences and associated methods (lifting, lowering, deployment, pipe lay, subsea handling).
• Participate in internal technical reviews such as Design Reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, and readiness assessments.
• Provide technical support during offshore campaigns when required.
• Coordinate interfaces with engineering disciplines, operations teams, marine departments, and HSE.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, industry regulations, and offshore safety requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of installation methodologies and documentation quality.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of confirmed experience in offshore installation methods within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience with subsea structures, flowlines, risers, and umbilicals.
• Strong expertise in offshore installation methods (lifting, lowering, wet buckle management, pipe lay, subsea deployment).
• Solid understanding of installation vessels, barges, lifting equipment, tensioners, and subsea handling systems.
• Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation compliant with international standards.
• Good knowledge of offshore operational constraints (weather windows, HSE, vessel capabilities, interfaces).
• Proficiency with engineering tools and standard software packages.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple technical interfaces.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Autonomous, structured, and rigorous in documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under time constraints and deliver high‑quality outputs.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• MFC – Medical Fitness Certificate (OGUK certified).
