Qualifications

Your mission

The Digital Acceleration & Information System (DAIS) department at Pierre Fabre is hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer in Castres (81). You will be responsible for managing and securing cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and coordinating with various teams and providers to support a large-scale environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building, securing, connecting, and maintaining internal (Data center and private cloud) and external (public cloud and SaaS) landing zones.
• Developing automation tools to improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Designing and implementing cloud solutions to meet internal needs.
• Collaborating on the service catalog lifecycle with the Cloud Center of Excellence.
• Coordinating with infrastructure, security, and external service providers.
• Monitoring performance, availability, and security of cloud services.
• Analyzing and resolving incidents in collaboration with internal and external teams.

This role involves interaction with major cloud providers, legacy infrastructure providers, and multiple secondary providers, supporting over 13,000 employees, 1,200 servers, and 350 applications across France and international subsidiaries.

Remote work up to 2 days/week is possible after the trial period.

Who you are ?

We seek a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in cloud and/or legacy infrastructure management, with a strong background in DevOps tools and methodologies, and knowledge of pharmaceutical validation standards is a plus.

Technical skills required:

• Expertise in Azure and at least one other hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, OVH, etc.).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with DevOps tools (GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of systems, networks, and IT architecture.
• Scripting and automation skills.
• Ability to lead community engagement (internal clients, providers, partners).
• Proficiency in English.
