Core Laboratories is seeking an Industrial Software, Machine Vision and Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software for control, supervision, monitoring and measurement of industrial equipment. The role includes GUI development, machine vision and image processing, with collaboration across R&D, Automation, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering and After-Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or MSc in Computer Science, Industrial Computing, Embedded Systems, Automation Engineering, Machine Vision.
• Significant previous experience in industrial software development is preferred.
• Experience with industrial machinery, instrumentation, or test benches is advantageous.
• A portfolio highlighting expertise in software development, industrial communications, and machine vision will be valued.

Responsabilités

• Analyze functional and technical requirements for industrial equipment control, supervision, monitoring, and data acquisition systems.
• Define software architecture, interfaces, data structures, and diagnostic mechanisms.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software in C, C++, Python and C#, selecting appropriate technologies per project.
• Develop intuitive GUIs for machine operation, configuration, real-time monitoring, alarm management and data analysis.
• Design and integrate embedded software for microcontrollers and industrial computers with real-time constraints.
• Implement industrial communications using Modbus TCP, TCP/IP, EtherCAT, and serial interfaces.
• Integrate software with PLCs, drives, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
• Develop machine vision solutions for image acquisition, calibration, inspection, and tracking.
