Job summary

STMicroelectronics seeks a Master’s-level production scheduling specialist to define, deploy, and optimize scheduling rules across Fab work areas in collaboration with DTIT, shop-floor teams, and Manufacturing.

You will draft functional specifications for schedulers, test features, and coordinate with software vendors to implement improvements, while supporting training and ensuring adherence to site objectives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in industrial environments, production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing control.
• Good understanding of production KPIs such as OEE, cycle time, throughput, quality and cost.
• Experience with scheduling tools, dispatching systems, or production control solutions is a strong asset.
• Ability to analyze complex operational situations and propose practical solutions.
• Strong coordination and communication with multiple stakeholders including production, engineering, IT and vendors.
• English business proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Define, deploy and support the scheduling solution across Fab areas, ensuring machine types follow optimization rules.
• Coordinate with production to define and prioritize scheduling rules, deploy schedulers and monitor execution.
• Interface with software vendor, draft functional specifications, raise enhancements, test and fix issues.
• Participate in production meetings to understand needs and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams and Industrial Engineers to optimize schedulers and settings for site strategy.
• Analyze dispatching and scheduling performance to improve OEE, cycle time, quality and costs.
• Coordinate with other sites and central project team to deploy the global solution.
• Provide operational support on production control tools and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Document structuring, run training sessions, and develop skills of shift-based teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and technological innovation with solution vendors.
