Job summary

Technip Energies is offering an internship in Paris within the Industrial Safety team to develop a digital tool for calculating fire water demand. You will replace Excel with a Python-based algorithm, centralized database, and a scalable interface, aiming to modernize safety engineering across projects.

You will work with domain experts to define functional requirements, validate rules, and ensure data integrity while preparing data exchanges with calculation and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• You are in the final year of an engineering school or are pursuing a Master’s 2 in CS/data engineering/diversified digital tech.
• You are proficient in Python and have a solid foundation in algorithms, databases, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL, Git, REST APIs, and web development frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Formalize calculation methods by analyzing existing tools and structuring rules and data.
• Develop the Python algorithm and validate results with tests and benchmarks.
• Structure industrial data models for equipment, protective systems, fire zones, and scenarios.
• Automate calculations and deliverables; generate scenarios and present results.
• Develop the interface and data exchanges with databases and calculation tools.
