Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse seeks an Industrial Means Engineer to drive the MGSE lifecycle for the Final Assembly Line & Test team. You will manage the development and deployment of mechanical ground support equipment for space missions, from requirements analysis to delivery and maintenance.

The role requires collaboration with design offices, systems engineers and manufacturing, drafting technical specifications and SoWs, leading tendering, and coordinating FATs with on-site

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in industrial tooling or ground support equipment lifecycle.
• Strong 3D CAD, mechanical analysis, manufacturing processes and metrology skills.
• Experience with Thermal, RF, EMC, or alignment knowledge is a plus.
• English fluency required; French proficiency for local negotiations/documentation.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with design offices and systems engineers to identify tooling requirements for AIT activities.
• Draft detailed Technical Specifications and SoW for suppliers and manufacturers.
• Manage Requests for Quotation (RfQ) and tender processes with budget and quality control.
• Oversee development and manufacturing, including validation of 3D models and drawings; manage design changes.
• Participate in FATs and provide on-site support during deployment and initial use.
• Maintain MGSE documentation and maintenance procedures.
