Job summary

Gindre is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to keep production machinery and its environment in good working order. Reporting to the Operational Maintenance Manager, you will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on presses, drawing benches, rolling mills, and related equipment.

You will identify faults, carry out repairs, restart machines after interventions, and document every intervention in our internal IT tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industrial maintenance role.
• Vocational baccalaureate +2 years of higher education in maintenance with a focus on mechanics.
• Knowledge of fault diagnosis and mechanical design; hydraulics knowledge desirable.
• Welding, turning, and milling experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery (presses, drawing benches, rolling mills, etc.).
• Identify faults and carry out repairs.
• Restart machines after interventions.
• Enter each intervention into internal IT tools to ensure the work carried out is tracked.
• Participate in projects aimed at continuously improving the service.
• Be a driving force in proposing ideas for improving the reliability of the machine fleet
