SPX FLOW is seeking an Industrial IT Officer to design and deploy MIS/MES applications and oversee industrial IT projects with automation engineers, clients and partners. The role involves the full lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning, including traveling 15–20% mainly in Europe.

You will translate client needs into robust, documented solutions, ensure scope, timeline and budget, and support both our automation and SCADA teams with tools and integration tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bac +3 degree in industrial computing or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong expertise in software architecture and database design.
• Proficient in one or more languages: C, C++ and C#.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Internet Information Services.
• Knowledge of web programming with ASP.Net.
• Professional English.

Responsabilités

• Develop MIS/MES applications per client specifications.
• Participate in costing, feasibility studies, and solution selection with teams and clients.
• Define specs and write project documentation: user, technical and installation manuals.
• Manage project execution: scope, budget, schedules, interfaces, changes.
• Install and configure hardware and software for simulations and delivered systems.
• Carry out tests, simulations and client acceptance; on-site commissioning.
• Supervise subcontractors and discuss tech with clients and suppliers.
• Produce meeting minutes and end-of-commissioning reports.

To strengthen our IT Engineering team, we are looking for an Industrial IT Officer who can design and deploy MIS/MES applications, while overseeing the technical execution of industrial projects alongside our automation engineers, clients and partners.

About The Role

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of industrial IT projects, from feasibility studies and costing to testing, commissioning and support. You will translate client needs into robust, documented and reusable solutions, respecting scope, timeline and budget. This role requires travel for 15 to 20% of the time (mainly Europe)

Your Responsibilities

• Develop MIS/MES applications in line with the client's specifications.
• Participate in costing, feasibility studies, and the selection of technical solutions with sales teams, automation engineers, and clients.
• Define specifications and functional analyses, then write project documentation: user, technical and installation manuals.
• Manage project execution: check scope and budget, monitor schedules, coordinate interfaces and control changes.
• Install and configure the hardware and software needed for simulations and delivered systems.
• Carry out tests, simulations and acceptance with the client, then ensure on-site commissioning.
• Supervise subcontractors and handle technical discussions with clients and suppliers.
• Produce meeting minutes and end-of-commissioning reports.
• Provide support to the Automation and SCADA teams, and develop helper tools for the automation engineers.
• Identify and integrate new technologies to develop standard and reusable solutions.

Desired profile

Your Additional Strengths

• Knowledge of Pascal and Delphi.
• Experience with AVEVA products: InTouch, Historian, and IAS.
• Design and deployment of containerised Edge Computing applications on Linux with Docker.
• Knowledge of programming Siemens, Schneider, or Rockwell PLCs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to speak Spanish.
