Cognite is hiring a Data Engineer to join our team in Toulouse, driving scalable data pipelines and cognite data fusion deployments. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and project managers to deliver digital solutions that empower clients in power, utilities, and manufacturing sectors.

You will work across integrations, data modeling and APIs, applying a DevOps mindset and contributing to Cognite’s tooling and SDKs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in a customer-facing data-intensive role.
• Experience delivering production-grade data pipelines using Python, SQL and REST APIs.
• Experience with distributed computing such as Kubernetes and managed cloud services like GCP and/or Azure.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using Cognite Data Fusion.
• Drive integrations, data modeling, extraction, and analysis via Cognite connectors and APIs.
• Create custom data models for discovery, mapping and cleansing.
• Collaborate with data scientists, project managers and architects on deliveries.
• Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for high-quality code.
• Support customers and partners in data engineering tasks with Cognite products.
• Contribute to Cognite tools and SDKs.
• Turn customer needs into a prioritized product backlog.
