IBM is seeking an IBM iSeries Technical Specialist to provide expert‑level support for the IBM iSeries (AS/400 / IBM i) platform, ensuring uptime, performance and availability across enterprise applications. You will act as the escalation point for incidents, perform root cause analysis, manage system administration tasks and support change and release activities.

The role requires strong CL programming, DB2 for i, MQ Series, TCP/IP, security concepts and ITIL awareness, with collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on IBM iSeries/AS400 support at an advanced level.
• Strong knowledge of IBM i OS and CL programming.
• Experience with DB2 for i and MQ Series on IBM i.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day support for IBM iSeries enterprise apps to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Act as escalation point for IBM iSeries incidents and problems and perform RCA.
• Manage system administration, security and performance optimization.
