Job summary

Doctolib is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to join the Tech team in Paris and contribute to AI-powered features for healthcare professionals and patients. You will work with AI and software engineers to prototype, evaluate, and integrate AI solutions, writing Python code and participating in production-ready development.

The internship offers mentorship, exposure to real AI projects in a healthcare environment, and a hybrid work setup with up to 2 remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Currently in the final year of a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Have basic experience with Python through coursework, personal projects, research, or previous internships.
• Have a basic understanding of programming concepts, data structures, and software development.
• Are curious about artificial intelligence and interested in understanding how AI systems work.
• Are comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of AI features and services under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Write Python code to support prototypes, experiments, evaluation tools, and backend components.
• Experiment with large language models, prompting techniques, retrieval, and tool integration.
• Contribute to automated tests and documentation for the components you develop.
• Investigate issues, analyse results, and suggest improvements to your team.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team rituals.
