INSERM is hiring a Research Assistant in Biology for a 24-month full-time contract at the Institut Cochin in Paris, starting November 1, 2026. You will join the Metabolism, Immunity, Cancer and Therapies team, a leading scientific environment co-directed by Marie‑Clotilde Alves‑Guerra and Renaud Dentin, supported by INSERM, CNRS, and Université Paris Cité.

You will design and implement experimental protocols and work with cellular models.

Qualifications

• Bac+2/3 in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or life sciences.
• Strong cell culture and biology/biochemistry techniques, with an interest in membrane protein biophysics.
• Rigorous, organized, efficient and intellectually curious; less than 3 years experience in a similar role.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and adapt biological and biochemical experimental protocols.
• Work with in vitro cellular models (cell lines, primary cultures from human and mouse tissues).
• Perform advanced biochemical and metabolic characterizations (oxygraphy, Seahorse, C13 flux).
• Process, analyze and clearly present scientific results.
