SYSTRA is seeking a GIS Specialist / Developer in Lyon (69) to join the Digital & SIG team. You will work with GIS engineers, data scientists, and IT developers on data-driven projects for transport and mobility.

The role emphasizes geospatial data management, cartography, and software tool development. Requirements include a relevant GIS degree with 2–5 years of experience, proficiency in QGIS/ArcGIS/FME, Python, and geospatial databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in GIS or related geographic information processing
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in GIS
• Experience with GIS tools and data management is expected

Responsabilités

• Organize and contribute to geospatial studies and assignments
• Collect, integrate, and process georeferenced data
• Produce cartographic deliverables (maps, web maps) using GIS tools
• Design processing chains and tools (QGIS ModelBuilder, FME, Python)
• Contribute to GeoAI projects and mobile GIS applications
• Draft and analyze functional/technical specs for GIS tools and apps
• Document and review code for automations
• Collaborate with IT and product teams
• Provide technical support for Python-based developments
