Scaleway is expanding its AI Tooling team in a hybrid Paris-area role focused on building AI-native products and GenAI features. You will work with LLMs, agentic workflows, and Python backends to deliver production-ready capabilities used across units.

You will collaborate with engineers, IT, and product teams, contribute to architecture, and stay ahead of AI tech trends, while enjoying flexible remote options and the scale of a leading European cloud provider.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or a related role.
• Strong foundations in Python backend development and software engineering.
• Hands-on with LLMs, Generative AI, and/or agentic systems.
• Experience with GenAI products used in production by real users.
• Understanding of ML/Data Science concepts related to LLM-based apps.
• Familiar with LLM frameworks such as LlamaIndex or LangChain.
• Comfortable with development and deployment tools such as Docker, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-native applications powered by LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Build robust and maintainable backend services in Python.
• Maintain and improve existing GenAI products, including JeanCloud.
• Design and deliver new AI-powered features and internal tools from experimentation to production.
• Experiment with emerging LLM models, frameworks, and agentic patterns.
• Translate user and business needs into production-ready product features.
• Contribute to technical architecture and product decisions within the team.
• Collaborate directly with internal users and partner teams to understand their needs.
• Monitor developments across the LLM/GenAI ecosystem and share learnings.
