Job summary

ALTEN, a leader in Engineering and IT Services, seeks an experienced engineer to design HV electrical systems for nuclear projects. You will work on HV, MV, and LV systems, review technical docs, and oversee on-site implementation at client sites in a dynamic, agile environment.

Proficiency in English and French is essential. You will apply knowledge of nuclear safety principles and PWR operations, ensuring safety-critical standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in professional English and French is required.
• Understanding of nuclear safety principles and methods.
• Knowledge of the fuel cycle and the functioning of PWRs, including risks and challenges.
• Familiarity with the nuclear environment and safety-critical activities (installations, systems, equipment, operations).

Responsibilities

• Design HV, MV, and LV electrical systems (schematics, distribution architecture, control systems).
• Review documents, plans, and technical schematics.
• Oversee implementation on the client’s site.
• Develop testing and maintenance procedures for equipment and components.
• Coordinate and supervise on-site installation of HV, MV, LV systems and equipment.
• Analyze client requirements to determine costs, capacity, and specifications.
