Job summary

Corsica Sole is seeking a High Voltage Grid Connection Manager to drive grid connection projects from feasibility to commissioning. You will lead electrical studies, interface with operators, and coordinate HV substations for power plants.

Fluency in French and English, 5+ years in engineering with HV experience, and strong modeling tool skills are required. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize technical and economic aspects, ensuring alignment with European grid codes and

Qualifications

Engineering degree or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems.
Minimum five years of engineering experience, with at least three in HV/MV sectors.
Strong knowledge of grid connection processes and HV substation design.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to development teams for HV grid connection applications.
Assess feasibility of grid solutions and optimize proposals from network operators.
Interface with distribution, transmission, and telecom operators for project prep, negotiation and execution.
Lead electrical studies including protection, stability analyses, and installation sizing.
Oversee procurement and construction of HV substations within plants, including specs and commissioning.
Collaborate with control and automation teams to optimize operation of HV assets.
Address HV integration challenges for battery storage and interlocking systems.
