Description:

As the Front Desk Group Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for group-related needs. Your strong organizational skills are important for handling inquiries, booking rooms, coordinating special requests, communicating with group leaders, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process for large groups.

Summary

As the Front Desk Group Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for group-related needs. Your strong organizational skills are important for handling inquiries, booking rooms, coordinating special requests, communicating with group leaders, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process for large groups.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Collect files from Group Reservations on incoming groups to pre-assign rooms, check-in groups, create keys, and deliver rooming list to the Bell Desk
  • Issue keys to the group leader and collect payment/vouchers
  • Assign guest accommodations in accordance with current policies and procedures
  • Manage cash flow in assigned bank and perform account postings
  • Reconcile departed group accounts and deliver files to Finance
  • Provide excellent guest service by handling all special requests and resolve any guest concerns
  • Run various reports regarding group activities
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of group needs
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of experience in role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment
  • Experience providing high level of guest service
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

  • Occasionally push/pull up to 35lbs
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 35lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels

  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
