NHS Scotland is seeking a Support Services Operative at Arran War Memorial Hospital. This permanent part-time role is 25 hours per week, with a 4-week rota covering mornings and backshifts, including weekends.

You will perform housekeeping/cleaning and meal/beverage duties within Clinical Support Services. Full training will be provided; the role requires flexibility, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be physically fit.
• Understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment.
• Flexible in regard to areas worked within Arran War Memorial Hospital.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Working within Clinical Support Services you will undertake a variety of housekeeping/cleaning and meal/beverage duties.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment, an understanding of food safety standards or working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.
