About the Role

Sanofi's Global MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology) is seeking an experienced leader to head the Upstream / Downstream MSAT team at our Vitry site.

This strategic role combines technical leadership with site-level governance as the Primary Interface between Site & MSAT (PrISM), including membership on the Site's Leadership Team.

Your Mission

• Lead technical oversight and support of manufacturing activities within Sanofi's global biologics network
• Drive Commercial Manufacturing Support, Lifecycle Management (LCM), and process improvements
• Oversee Scale up / Tech Transfer, Process Validation, and regulatory support
• Collaborate across functions (upstream, downstream, analytical, CMC, manufacturing, regulatory) to optimize drug substance processes
• Manage MSAT laboratories and small-scale models for manufacturing support studies

Key Responsibilities as PrISM

• Active core member of the Site Leadership Team
• Drive site roadmap execution aligned with Manufacturing & Supply's strategic plan
• Ensure optimal communication and service level between MSAT and site stakeholders
• Focal point for site requests and MSAT network engagement

Your Profile

• Master's or PhD in Biological / Biomedical Sciences / Engineering
• 10+ years in biopharmaceutical industry (process development, scale-up, validation, or manufacturing support)
• Proven experience with large-scale mammalian cell culture manufacturing and cGMP
• Strong knowledge of US / EU regulations
• Track record of building and leading high-performance technical teams
• Fluent English (oral and written)
