Job summary

Thermosphr is seeking a Head of Finance to build and lead a financial organization across France, Germany and Poland. You will own finance, controlling, administration, legal and compliance, driving operational excellence, robust reporting, and strong governance.

You will bring 4–8 years of experience in high‑growth or advisory environments, and you will partner with CEO and management to optimize margins, pricing, and investments across Europe.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in demanding environments such as Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, M&A, audit, FP&A or strategy consulting.
• Fluency in French and full professional proficiency in English; German a plus.
• Strong analytical capabilities with rigorous execution and a pragmatic hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Finance & controlling: cash management, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, billing and receivables, supplier payments, and coordination of accounting and tax matters across France, Germany and Poland.
• Administration, legal & compliance: corporate matters, HR administration, contracts, insurance, equity plans, data rooms and regulatory compliance.
• Business performance: profitability analysis, cost allocation, pricing, business cases, KPIs, productivity and resource-allocation decisions.
• Business partnering: support Sales on pricing, tenders and customer business cases; collaborate with Operations, Product and Tech on project economics.
• Financing & investors: banking relationships, non-dilutive financing, grants, treasury management, investor reporting, preparation for future financing.
• Strategic projects: financial assessment of new products, services, partnerships, business models and geographic expansion.

We work with leading European real estate owners and asset managers across more than 2 million m² of buildings and operate across Europe, with entities in France, Germany and Poland.

We are hiring a Head of Finance to build a financial organization capable of supporting and actively shaping this next stage.

The role

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the management team, you will own Thermosphr's finance, controlling, administrative, legal and compliance functions across the group.

Your first priority will be operational excellence: accurate financial information, disciplined processes, effective tools, strong compliance and consistently high standards of documentation.

You will also bring a stronger financial perspective into business decisions, helping us understand margins and resource allocation, improve pricing and productivity, challenge investments and improve pricing and productivity, challenge investments and strengthen performance management across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Finance & controlling: cash management, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, billing and receivables, supplier payments, and coordination of accounting and tax matters across France, Germany and Poland, including transfer pricing and intragroup flows.

• Administration, legal & compliance: corporate matters, HR administration, contracts, insurance, equity-plan administration, documentation, data rooms and regulatory compliance.

• Business performance: profitability analysis, cost allocation, pricing, business cases, company and team KPIs, productivity, automation and resource-allocation decisions.

• Business partnering: support Sales on pricing, tenders, customer business cases and major negotiations; work with Operations, Product and Tech on project economics, productivity and investment decisions.

• Financing & investors: banking relationships, non-dilutive financing, grants and R&D tax incentives, treasury management, Board and investor reporting, and preparation for future financing needs.

• Strategic projects: financial assessment of new products, services, partnerships, business models and future geographic expansion.

We are looking for a high-potential finance professional, with 4–8 years of experience in a demanding environment such as Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, M&A, audit, financial or strategy consulting, FP&A / Strategic Finance, or Finance within a high‑growth company.

• fluency in French and full professional proficiency in English, German a plus

Experience in an international environment is a plus. Previous experience in real estate or energy is not required.
