Danone Evian facility seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead capital projects, oversee safety, quality, and performance, and align with plant leadership on strategic objectives. You will own technical execution, timeline management, and financial oversight for capital programs.

You will guide cross-functional teams, build engineering capabilities, and drive standards while managing CAPEX forecasting and procurement coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science or relevant degree from an accredited College or University.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in engineering roles, with leadership experience.
• 5 years of relevant Engineering experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food manufacturing.
• Previous people management experience required.
• Experience in integrated automation, controls technology and packaging systems.

Responsabilités

We are currently seeking an SeniorEngineering Manager for our Evian Fcaility. In this role, you will join the plant leadership team and be responsible for supporting all strategic, operational, and policy-related aspects of the plant, with a focus on safety, quality, performance, management, and organizational objectives. You will act as the primary point of contact for all capital projects within the plant, overseeing technical execution, timeline management, and financial oversight for each project.

The Danone Evian site, located in Haute-Savoie on the shores of Lake Geneva, is globally recognized for its production of natural mineral water. For over 230 years, Evian water - resulting from a 15-year journey through the glacial rocks of the French Alps - has stood out for its purity and unique taste. The Evian site is a model of innovation and sustainability, with initiatives such as the use of 100 percent recycled and recyclable plastic bottles, and the protection of the local environment through the Association for the Protection of the Evian Mineral Water Impluvium (APIEME). With more than 300 quality tests carried out every day, the site guarantees exceptional water while committing to a sustainable future. It employs around 1,200 people across a wide range of roles, from bottling and water resource quality to environmental management, as well as safety and logistics.

Job Responsibilities

• Project execution for all current Processing, Packaging, Building and Utility projects
• Work with cross functional plant leadership team to align on project priorities
• Create technical specifications, preliminary budgets and project justification for new projects
• Work with CAPEX analyst and plant controller to manage the plant's capital forecast and budget
• Coordinate and lead multi-functional teams (several engineering project managers and project engineers)
• Create, design and evaluate initial call for tender documents
• Work with Regional Engineering teams during bidding processes and technical alignment
• Work with the CAPEX procurement team to align on priorities and contract negotiations
• Edit and advise and implement Danone’s Standards
• Serve as a technical and leadership resource for Danone initiatives
• Build capabilities within engineering team
• Occasional project specific travel required
• Work with cross functional team to develop and update site masterplan
• Manage plant engineering team (several engineering project managers and project engineers)

Job Qualifications

Experience and working knowledge in

• Integrated automation and controls technology
• High speed packaging systems design
• Manufacturing plant utility systems

Must be organized and self-disciplined to accommodate the management of concurrent projects

• Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend or late shifts, during installation/startup periods

Experience And Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science or relevant degree from an accredited College or University
• 8 to 10 years of experience
