UMA in Paris, France is seeking a Data & ML Infrastructure Lead to own and scale the data backbone of the company. This role involves leading the design of the data platform from multimodal data capture to training-ready datasets, ensuring reliability and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in data infrastructure and a strong record in building data-intensive systems. Exceptional builders passionate about AI and robotics are highly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data infrastructure, ML infrastructure, or large-scale data-platform engineering.
• Proven track record building data-intensive infrastructure in production and at scale.
• Strong Python skills and experience in a high-performance compiled language.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design of our data platform end to end from on-robot capture to training-ready datasets.
• Build versioned pipelines for post-processing and ensure reproducibility.
• Optimize training data loading and manage datasets from reinforcement learning.
