A fast-growing sports tech startup in Paris is seeking a Head of Business Development. This leadership role focuses on securing large enterprise accounts and building strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in business development, proven sales skills with large clients, and the ability to negotiate complex agreements. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or German is a plus. Competitive salary and equity package offered.

About Us

Ochy is a venture backed AI sports and health tech startup. We build an AI powered biomechanics technology that makes high quality running gait analysis accessible outside of laboratory environments. Our technology transforms a simple smartphone video into objective running form insights that can be used for shoe recommendation, injury prevention and performance improvement.

In 2025, Ochy reached strong commercial and product traction. We signed multiple retailers and global sports brands. Our objective for this role is to secure large enterprise accounts and build long term strategic partnerships with key players across retail, sports, and health.

Position Overview

As Head of Business Development, you own global enterprise growth. Your core mission is to close large key accounts and turn a strong pipeline into long term revenue. You work closely with the CEO and leadership team. You operate at executive level with global decision makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own global business development strategy with a strong focus on enterprise clients
  • Target and close large retailers and global sports brands
  • Convert an existing strong pipeline into signed contracts
  • Lead complex sales cycles including pilots, rollouts, and multi city/country deployments
  • Build long term strategic partnerships at group and headquarters level
  • Negotiate commercial terms and enterprise agreements
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and tech teams to align roadmap and market needs
Your Profile
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or enterprise sales
  • Proven experience selling to large enterprise clients
  • Excellent negotiation and deal structuring skills
  • Comfortable operating in an international and fast growth environment
  • Experience in sports tech or health tech is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English. French or German is a plus
