Job summary

Pierre Fabre Laboratories is seeking a hands-on leader to build and lead the Business Analysis capability across R&D IT. You will coach teams, challenge stakeholders, and drive priorities on high-impact projects, while personally leading BA activities.

This role emphasizes data governance, FAIR data principles, and collaboration across Science, Clinical, Data, AI and IT. This position is compatible with teleworking up to 2 days a week after the trial period, reflecting a hybrid work model in a

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Consulting, Business Partnering, and Digital Transformation.
• Strong experience in Pharmaceutical R&D, Laboratory Informatics, Scientific Applications, Clinical Development, Data & Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BA capability and coach/develop analysts.
• Establish standards, methods and best practices for BA.
• Ensure quality of requirements, business cases and deliverables.
• Stay hands-on and lead workshops on strategic initiatives.
• Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and drive decisions.
• Support build-vs-buy decisions and prioritization.
• Partner with R&D leaders and align Science, Clinical, Data, AI and IT.
• Contribute to portfolio planning and governance.

Your mission

Shape the future of R&D Pharma Pierre Fabre is accelerating its transformation toward a more digital, data-driven and AI-enabled R&D organization. To support this ambition, we are creating a new leadership role to build and lead the Business Analysis capability across R&D IT while remaining deeply involved in our most strategic initiatives. This is not a pure management role. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can coach a team, challenge stakeholders, drive priorities, and personally lead business analysis activities on high-impact projects.

• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, preferably within R&D.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data flows, and FAIR data principles.
• Experience with electronic lab notebooks (eLN) and other R&D IT systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CBAP) is highly desirable.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
