Canonical is hiring a Product Manager for Hardware Certification. The role focuses on leading the development lifecycle, shaping the certification scheme, and driving go-to-market strategy.

You will work with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define roadmaps, collaborate with OEMs and customers, and explore new business models in a globally distributed team. The ideal candidate understands Linux and the open source ecosystem, with knowledge of computer architecture, datacenters, cloud

Qualifications

• Excellent academic record at high school and university.
• Strong understanding of Linux and open source software.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, data centers, cloud or devices.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 4 times a year for company events.

Responsabilités

• Lead the product development lifecycle for Hardware Certification and drive the roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and sales to align on strategy.
• Define future business models considering the competitive landscape.
• Engage with Ubuntu user community, partners, OEMs and customers to enable commercial success.
• Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback.
• Communicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to ensure alignment.
• Develop go-to-market strategies, create product documentation, and provide training.
• Support sales by reviewing customer feedback and participating in customer meetings.
