Job summary

OKATIM Iberica SA seeks a hands-on Workshop & Facility Lead to set up, run and keep the atelier fully operational for prototype and low-volume automotive programs. This role involves direct workshop work, including assembly and painting areas, not purely managerial duties.

You will define layout, install lifts and air systems, supervise maintenance, support technicians, manage logistics and ensure health and safety. Fluent English and French are required; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive workshop, motorsport, prototype or low-volume production.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle lifts, workshop equipment, mechanical assembly, compressors and air systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues independently and set up a workshop.
• Willingness to work physically in the workshop and handle vehicles.
• Driving licence with trailer driving ability.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, autonomous and quick to react.
• English and French required; Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the workshop layout and oversee installation of lifts, compressors, air systems.
• Maintain fully functional and clean assembly areas, tooling and utilities.
• Perform basic mechanical work, troubleshoot equipment and fix issues quickly.
• Ensure paint booth setup with proper airflow, filtration, temp and humidity.
• Define equipment needs, oversee installation and maintenance routines.
• Coordinate logistics: move vehicles, loading/unloading, and trailer driving when needed.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in the workshop.
