Welcome to the Jungle France seeks a Group Treasury & Accounting Manager reporting to the CFO to oversee AP, AR, and treasury across France and international entities. The role emphasizes business partnership, structure, and continuous improvement in a fast-scaling finance function.

The ideal candidate will manage a team of 6, drive AI-enabled automation, and lead cross-border financial operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in accounting, with multi-entity/int'l exposure.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of French GAAP (PCG) and IFRS; UK/US GAAP a plus.
  • Proven experience managing accounting and treasury operations in a fast-growing, international company.
  • Excellent command of accounting software and office tools (Excel, Google Sheets, ERP, cash management).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

  • Oversee daily accounting operations across all subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Lead monthly and annual closings, including reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and audit documentation.
  • Supervise end-to-end AP and optimize the Purchase-to-Pay cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations across all jurisdictions.
  • Oversee billing, collections, and revenue recognition across entities.
  • Monitor aging receivables and coordinate with Sales and Customer Success to resolve balances.
  • Manage daily cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and short-term forecasting at group level.
  • Handle FX exposure and intra-group cash flows, including cash pooling and intercompany loans.
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners across jurisdictions.
  • Drive finance tools evolution (NetSuite, Chargebee, Upflow) and promote automation/AI.
  • Own and improve internal accounting procedures as the organization scales.
  • Serve as primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, and legal teams; file tax obligations across jurisdictions.

Description du poste

Directly reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Group Treasury & Accounting Manager plays a central role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of Welcome to the Jungle's subsidiaries across France and its international entities. This role is responsible for overseeing all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury activities at group level, while ensuring full compliance with both local and international regulatory frameworks.

Beyond technical excellence, this role requires a business partner mindset: the Group Treasury & Accounting Manager serves as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners alike, and is expected to bring structure, rigor, and continuous improvement to a fast-scaling finance organization.

The ideal candidate thrives in a growing, international environment, has a proven ability to manage multiple jurisdictions, and brings both operational hands-on capability and leadership maturity. They demonstrate strong people management skills, with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team of 6, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous growth. Key Responsibilities
Management
  • Team Leadership:Manage and develop a team of 6 across AP, AR, and General Accounting, spanning multiple entities, in a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Goal Setting & Feedback:Define clear individual objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide meaningful, ongoing feedback.
  • Coaching & Upskilling:Invest in each team member's growth by sharing expertise and building the technical and soft skills needed to evolve in a fast-changing finance environment.
  • AI & Automation Adoption:Lead the team's transition into the AI era by identifying automation opportunities, championing new tools, and positioning the team as a driver of innovation within Finance.
  • Talent Development:Identify high-potential profiles, support career progression, and build a resilient, future-ready team.
General and Supplier Accounting
  • Oversee daily accounting operations across all subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Lead monthly and annual financial closings, including account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and audit documentation.
  • Supervise the end-to-end AP process and drive continuous improvement of the Purchase-to-Pay cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations across all operating countries, and monitor regulatory changes.
Accounts Receivable
  • Oversee billing, collections, and revenue recognition across entities, ensuring intercompany invoicing is accurate and reconciled.
  • Monitor aging receivables and drive resolution of outstanding balances in coordination with Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Ensure intercompany invoicing is accurate and reconciled across all subsidiaries.
Treasury Management
  • Manage daily cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and group-level short-term forecasting
  • Handle foreign exchange exposure and intra-group cash flows, including cash pooling and intercompany loans.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with banking partners across jurisdictions.
Tools and Processes
  • Act as a key finance stakeholder for Finance tools evolutions (NetsSuite, Chargebee, Upflow etc.) and champion the adoption of automation and AI-powered tools to drive efficiency.
  • Own, apply, and continuously improve internal accounting procedures as the organization scales.
Internal and External Relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and legal teams across all entities.
  • Act as the go-to accounting and treasury expert for internal departments.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax obligations (VAT, IS, CVAE, CFE, etc.) across jurisdictions.
Required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, DSCG, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in accounting, with significant exposure to multi-entity or international environments.
  • Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken); day-to-day work is conducted in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of both French GAAP (PCG) and IFRS; working knowledge of UK/US GAAP is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing accounting and treasury operations in a fast-growing, international company.
  • Excellent command of accounting software and office tools: Excel, Google Sheets, ERP systems, and cash management platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; comfortable operating across multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite highly valued.
  • Experience in consolidation at group level.
  • Exposure to transfer pricing rules and intercompany documentation.
  • Experience managing or coordinating cross-border tax compliance (VAT, corporate tax in multiple jurisdictions).
  • Prior experience in a startup or scale-up context; comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build structure from scratch.
  • Team management experience, ideally with a team of 5 or more.
  • Interest in and experience with AI tools and finance automation solutions.
