Support Functions - Finance

Position:

Group Business Investment Director - GIC H/F

Role Purpose:

• Lead and manage group investments to ensure clarity and transparency in investments and business cases.
• Support the Board of Management in governing the group/corporate investment procedures.
• Implement and monitor strategic business cases and investments post GIC approvals.
• Digitalize the investment process across the Geodis group.

Responsibilities:

• Support and challenge Lines of Business, Regions, and Corporate functions on investments presented to GIC.
• Advise and influence Group CSO, CFO, and Board on investments (CAPEX/BD).
• Coordinate with Legal, Treasury, Real Estate, Compliance, CSR, and other functions for comprehensive review before GIC presentation.
• Support the Group CSO/CFO and Management Board in leading and advising on investment procedures.
• Coordinate with Regions, LoBs, and Functions on strategy and development projects.
• Manage relations with SNCF Group Investments and coordinate the investment function group-wide.
• Support the CSO/CFO in governing and digitalizing investment workflows and systems.
• Identify potential process optimizations and investment trends.

Qualifications:

• Over 10 years of experience in Finance.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience working in a matrix organization.

Education:

BAC+5 / MASTER
