Position: Graphic Designer

Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes.

With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. Role Overview

Under the direction of the JMM Brand Director, the Graphic Designer will create a wide variety of graphic assets for use in everything from social media to print advertising. The Sr Graphic Designer will develop new visual concepts within our existing visual framework, work with key stakeholders and executive leadership to ensure broad alignment and create assets for use in various media and contexts. The individual's aesthetic should be translated into designs that are clear, compelling, and visually exciting.

Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:
  • Visual creation & development
  • Work on a wide range of projects media: using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphics that meet design and business needs.
  • Maintain a level of excellence in all creatives: a keen eye for typography, graphic design, illustration, packaging, photography and retouches and all other design elements.
  • Collaboration & strategy
  • Collaborate with the product design and marketing teams: Partner with these teams to create innovative designs (online & offline) and compelling stories and campaigns in line with the brand’s DNA.
  • Develop and pitch new brand concepts: Create & present concepts for use in global and local campaigns in line with the Brand’s DNA.
  • Marketing material creation
  • Create: marketing collateral for a variety of uses across all channels.
  • Ensure Brand consistency: Update and enforce visual style guides for use by product teams, partners and across all marketing platforms.
  • Internal databases
  • Update and maintain internal databases: Manage design, photography, & video resources for easy access.
  • Organize creative assets: Ensure the all-design files are well-organized & create guidelines to boost cross-collaboration.
Key Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a graphic designer in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proven experience leading creative teams in developing brand concepts
  • Expert-level abilities with Adobe Suite software
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
