Qualifications

Description du poste

As part of L2 / L3 GSC Maintenance in the GSC Backup you will have the following responsibilities :

• Preventive and reactive maintenance of the GNSS Service Centre (GSC) backup.
• Troubleshooting for operational systems and development of workarounds.
• Maintenance of the troubleshooting platform.
• Implementation of software configuration changes at the GSC backup.
• Support for GSC operations teams during critical activities, including site hand-over.
• Software installations, verification, and restoration.
• Applying software patches and data migration.
• Maintenance and development of training material.

You will have the following qualifications :

• Engineering degree in a relevant technical field with min. 5 years of experience
• Experience in ground system AIV campaigns
• Experience in ground system operations
• Familiar with IT systems, like web-based applications and server hardware
• Knowledge of Galileo Sevice Center an advantage
• Willingness to strictly follow procedures and creative enough to find workarounds if they fail
• Ability to coordinate complex tasks over team boundaries
• Interested in new and exciting things, interested in constant learning
• Willing and able to travel for trainings and workshops
• An advanced level of English is mandatory
• PSC (personal security clearance) an advantage
