Job summary

Alstom CDS Interiors is seeking a SPQD Engineer to validate product concepts and supplier processes for railway interiors. You will ensure quality across design reviews, development cycles, and first articles, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to secure production readiness.

The role requires 3–5 years in production or industrial engineering, strong plastics knowledge, and travel up to 40% in Europe and beyond. Fluent English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 03–05 years’ experience in Production Management, Product Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering background with strong technical knowledge in plastics and processes (FRP, Thermoforming…).
• Special processes knowledge (Bonding, Welding, Painting).
• Experience with problem-solving methods (8D, QRQC) and risk analysis (FMEA).
• Able to work in an international, multi-site organization.
• Willingness to travel ~40% in France and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Product concept validation and supplier processes capability validation for railway interiors parts.
• Manage warranty issues on ongoing projects with rapid corrective actions.
• Validate supplier manufacturing processes and first article inspection at supplier sites.
• Coordinate with CDS team to define and deploy solutions at site.
