Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Global Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence across European sites. You will lead quality projects, support cost reduction, and manage critical investigations using structured methods. You will align with aerospace standards and customer requirements to ensure robust QMS across multiple sites.

The role involves coaching European quality engineers, enabling data-driven improvements, and travel across Europe to support initiatives and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• Experience in Quality within aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of composites manufacturing processes and RCA methods.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
• Experience with data analytics and quality system transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead global quality projects across Hexcel European sites for standardization and improvement.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce scrap and cost of poor quality.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for major customer claims.
• Assess new customer and regulatory quality requirements and define action plans.
• Represent Global Quality in customer and supplier interactions and drive customer satisfaction.
