Airbus SAS in Toulouse seeks a Head of Digital Software Engineering to lead the Digital Software Engineering PSL and teams across Europe and India. You will shape software strategy, drive platform adoption and partner with DI to deliver scalable software solutions for Airbus Commercial.

You will manage a large, cross-functional team, align with business goals, and foster innovation in AI, low-code/no-code, and secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership with proven ability to drive large-scale transformations.
• Hands-on software engineering background and domain authority in DevSecOps, API-first, UX.
• Experience building self-service platforms and managing P&L and budgets.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor and train a team of 100 engineers across Europe and India.
• Provide technical and business vision around Software Engineering to deliver software at scale.
• Drive platform strategy, reduce TCO and enable mass adoption with self-service capabilities.
• Advance software development excellence via data-driven KPIs and digital supply chain contracts.
• Develop team careers, boost engagement, leadership and agility.
• Define and execute a 3-year technical roadmap and navigate make/buy decisions.
