The Associate Partnerships Officer (Due Diligence) supports UNESCO's Grants and Resource Management Section by preparing due diligence reports for private sector partners, responding to donor assessment requests, and assisting with audits and verification missions of projects funded by voluntary contributions. The role coordinates due diligence processes to limit reputational risk.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in finance, business, law, economics, accounting or audit.
  • Alternative: first-level degree with two years of relevant experience.
  • At least two years in due diligence or related field; international exposure preferred.
  • Strong understanding of due diligence processes and UNSDG approach.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in multicultural, international environments.
  • Familiarity with UN System operations and governance is a plus.

Responsabilités

  • Prepare due diligence reports for private sector partners and donors.
  • Support audits and verification missions for projects funded by voluntary contributions.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes to manage reputational risk.
  • Respond to donor assessment requests and prepare consultation materials.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of FAQs and responses for internal use.
  • Assist with communication materials and training on due diligence guidelines.
