Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking a Global Head of Sensory and Technical Insights to lead the development and application of sensory science and consumer insights across our spirits portfolio. Based in Paris, you will build capabilities, drive innovation and ensure product decisions are grounded in robust science.

You will lead a global team, partner with R&D, marketing, quality and operations, and shape strategic roadmaps for sensory and technical insights across categories, ensuring brand consistency

Qualifications

• Pursuing MSc/PhD in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in sensory science or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead global scientific capabilities.
• Track record of influencing senior leadership decisions.
• Experience with digital initiatives and data-driven insights.
• Familiarity with sensory methodologies and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the global sensory and technical insights strategy across innovation, renovation and quality.
• Lead generation of sensory and technical insights for multiple spirits categories.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for R&D, marketing, quality and operations.
• Integrate sensory data with analytical, consumer and product data for holistic understanding.
• Build and lead a global community of practice; develop panels and governance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and reformulation.
• Lead external collaborations and represent the function in senior leadership reviews.
