Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS invites a Database Administrator to join the Infrastructure Technologies department in Marignane, France. You will manage Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments, collaborating with system architects to meet performance goals and ensure high availability across critical Airbus applications.

The role requires 3+ years of DB experience, scripting for automation, and strong documentation skills, with English fluency and German a plus.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL databases.
Knowledge in scripting languages to develop automation and analysis.
Proficiency in creating and managing technical documentation.
Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize production, development and test environments for ORACLE, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other DB technologies.
Collaborate with System Architects to ensure the database layer meets the rigorous performance requirements.
Perform regular maintenance, including backups, restores, and statistics calculations to ensure high availability
Support and backup the database product manager.
Maintain databases of critical applications of Airbus helicopters (e.g. 3DEXPERIENCE)
