Nexans Iberia SL is seeking a seasoned Group Category Manager to lead Category Management and Supplier Management across BGs, driving cost optimization and strategic supplier partnerships.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in industrial purchasing, a Master’s in engineering (MBA a plus), and fluent English. You will coordinate regional managers and align with global purchasing strategies to support a sustainable electrification agenda.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leadership experience in Purchasing within Industrial environments.
• Engineering Master degree or equivalent; MBA a plus.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Strong drive with ability to mobilize transversal and cross-functional teams.
• Transformation skills and cross-business collaboration capability.
• Cross-functional, multi-sites, multicultural leadership.
• Deep understanding of purchasing value chain and category management in industrial settings.

Responsabilités

• Define the Category Purchasing Company roadmap to meet business needs and ESG/CSR objectives.
• Define Category objectives and manage activities in line with BGs and Group Purchasing objectives.
• Monitor purchasing standards and indicators; use performance dashboards.
• Supervise risk analysis and mitigation for the Category.
• Lead a network of Regional Category Managers for global alignment.
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and establish market benchmarks.
• Ensure product cost structure is analyzed and integrated into Category Plans.
• Coordinate Supplier Relationship Management across BGs to leverage synergies.
• Drive supplier negotiations and promote long-term agreements.
